Biography:
Dr Vahid Yazdanpanah is an academic collaborator at CCAIS, working on responsibility in AI systems, ridesharing, and citizen-centric approaches to AI. His research focuses on intelligent agents, multiagent systems, formal reasoning, and game-theoretic methods. At CCAIS, Vahid contributes expertise on how AI systems can reason about responsibility, support ethical decisions, and behave in ways that are trustworthy. His work is particularly relevant to the design of AI systems that involve multiple interacting agents, where questions of coordination, accountability, fairness, and resilience are central. Vahid’s broader research explores agent-based simulation, logics for multiagent systems, and strategic reasoning. Through this work, he aims to support the development of AI technologies that are not only technically robust, but also sensitive to societal values and the real-world contexts in which citizens interact with intelligent systems.
